On the full rig at CAMP, with headroom to spare.

At Calling All Magical People Festival, a boutique 1200 person annual festival in Maryland, on the full rig with the dancefloor packed, we still had roughly 30% more capacity in hand.

“I have never been in a space with such awe inspiring clarity and fidelity of sound while still being able to talk and connect on the dance floor.”

Why it works outdoors

Less to move. More in reserve.

01

Power that stays clean

The full rig includes a UPS power station, which is essential for outdoor events running on generators, since generator power is inconsistent. We power our own equipment.

02

A quarter of the cabinets

Void produces the same amount of SPL (sound pressure level — how loud a system actually gets) with a quarter of the cabinets. So there is less to move, less to set up, fewer components to fail.

03

Tireless

Void cabinets carry far more power than a job ever asks of them, so the system runs well inside its limits all night.

04

Loud, and still clear

A dancefloor loud enough to lose yourself on and quiet enough to whisper across. Guests can stay in conversation.

05

Owners on it all night

Chris and Lindsay, plus the crew the job calls for — typically two to four people depending on the configuration. Chris tunes the system himself and one of us stays on it for the whole event.

From the booth

What it is like to play a sunrise set on it.

The ship stage, its sail and chandeliers above a packed daytime dancefloor in the Fairy Forest at CAMP

“I’ve played on some of the finest sound systems on festivals around the world and Burning Man, and have had the honor of playing on their Void configuration for the closing Fairy Forest closing sunrise set of the CAMP festival for 4 times now. Their sound is on par with all the other top-notch systems I’ve played on.

There is a joy on weaving a DJ set not having to worry about “what will sound good in this sound system?” - because everything sounds pristine and with punch with their rigs.

Think of it as 'a sonic Michelin Star awarded sound system experience'.”

How far will you travel?

New York is home, and we regularly load out across the East Coast — Philadelphia, Maryland, New England. Anything beyond a comfortable drive we will quote with travel and lodging included, so there are no surprises.

What about power?

The full rig includes a UPS power station, which is essential for outdoor events running on generators, since generator power is inconsistent. We power our own equipment. If a job needs electrical work, we specify and coordinate with the venue’s electrician, or hire one ourselves.

How many people can you cover?

From 50 to 1,000 outdoors depending on configuration. Indoors the same rig is about two-thirds more powerful, because the room lets us compress it.

Are you insured?

Yes. We carry full liability insurance and can issue a certificate of insurance naming your venue or production company as additional insured. Send us the venue’s requirements and we will have the COI over to you.

What does it take to book?

A 50% deposit reserves your date. The remaining 50% is due on or before the day of your event. Read the booking terms.

What if we have to cancel?

Cancel 14 or more days before your event and we refund 75% of what you have paid. Inside 14 days there is no refund. Read the booking terms.

Tell us about your festival.

Tell us the space, headcount, hours and anything unusual, and one of us writes back with a spec and a price. Chris and Lindsay personally read everything that comes in.
