About Us
Inside sound since he was thirteen.
Christopher Calihan has been inside sound since he was thirteen, when a local repair shop took him on. In the early 1990s he co-founded No Limits in the Southern California car and boat audio scene — fabricating enclosures, beta testing speakers, competing nationally. He went on to co-develop the high-excursion driver, the long-throw woofer, alongside manufacturers and engineers, and has spent thirty years building systems that stay easy on human hearing over long hours. He and Lindsay bought this rig to take it past stock, and he tunes and maintains every part of it himself.
We’re a husband and wife, married ten years now, and this is our only business. That’s the practical promise: the people who care most are the people who show up. Early load-in, cables hidden, levels that keep your neighbors and your permit happy, a rig clean enough for the photographs, and one of us on it all night.

The secret sauce
Sound is Chris’s whole life, and after decades inside it he arrived at a signature of his own — a specific curve, a specific set of frequencies, tuned by ear over years until the rig produced the exact feeling he was chasing. It isn’t a preset you can buy or copy off a spec sheet. He’s the only one with the recipe, and you can hear it the second the system comes up.
Renting this rig means getting the entire crew. Lindsay, Chris and the team who actually do the work show up and handle all of it, from load-in through the last set.

East Patchogue is home. The East Coast is the road.
We are based in East Patchogue, on Long Island. New York is home, and we regularly load out across the East Coast — Philadelphia, Maryland, New England. Anything beyond a comfortable drive we will quote with travel and lodging included, so there are no surprises.
